Profile
Lkhamsuren Munkh-Erdene is currently a Humboldt Research Fellow at Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology and a professor of History and Anthropology at the National University of Mongolia. He earned his doctorate in History and Area Studies from Hokkaido University, Japan, in 2004, and held research fellowships at Stanford University, 2008-2009, the Austrian Academy of Sciences, 2009-2011, and the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, 2012-2013.
