Current Project

The PhD project, funded by the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, explores judicial impartiality against the background of culturally diverse societies and the influence of perceptions of normality in jurisprudence, in the midst of current challenges for example climate change, digitalization and polarization in public discourse. The project relies on interviews with judicial practitioners taking into account their individual cultural backgrounds.
